Photographing a marriage proposal over Dubrovnik at sunset

As an experienced photographer of special moments in Dubrovnik, I can say that Mount Srđ is one of the most stunning spots for a romantic declaration of love. From its summit, you can enjoy stunning views of the Old Town, the Adriatic Sea, and the islands. At sunset, when the golden rays of the sun illuminate everything, it seems as if this beauty was painted by an artist.

A young American contacted me a week before arriving in Croatia. He was planning a secret proposal in Dubrovnik and was looking for the best proposal photographer in Dubrovnik. We discussed the details, choosing a time before sunset and the precise geolocation so I could shoot from afar.

 

That evening in mid-September, the weather was perfect. I was already waiting at the summit when they reached the summit, holding hands. While the couple admired the scenery, I discreetly took photos. They were embracing against the backdrop of the sunset sky, the wind playing with her hair.
