Let me tell you about a place that fascinates and inspires me even after so many years of working as a photographer in Montenegro. This is Lovcen National Park. It begins at the walls of Kotor and covers the central part of the mountain range above it. 

Here is the most amazing observation deck over the Bay of Kotor. When the sun sets, the sky turns into a multitude of colors, bathing the landscape in a warm glow that is simply magical.
I had the pleasure of capturing many wonderful moments in this place. Marriage proposals and wedding photo shoots here at sunset look especially touching.

To be a photographer in Lovcen, you need to have in your arsenal special equipment for back-up photography and correctly calculate the travel time. A picturesque, but a little tiring for the driver, serpentine road leads from the coast to the mountain. As a rule, we make several stops along the way in the most beautiful places. The local nature has created charming landscapes with cliffs and coniferous forests, sun-drenched meadows and moss-covered hills. Cozy houses of local residents and authentic restaurants blend harmoniously into the environment, creating a Balkan flavor for your photos.

The largest and most famous monument in Lovcen National Park is the Mausoleum of Peter II Petrovic Njegos. This small but majestic complex is located on a picturesque peak with a circular observation deck from which neighboring countries are even visible. The feeling of standing on this platform and enjoying the beauty of nature spread out before you is truly impressive. The tranquility of the surroundings, the fresh mountain air and the feeling of being on top of the world all contribute to the overall experience.
