Proposal in Montenegro

As a photographer in Perast, I have seen many loving couples over the years of my work, but this proposal was one of the most touching.
A young man approached me with a request to organize a romantic proposal. His family was of Balkan origin, although the second generation already lived in America. He brought the girl of his dreams to Montenegro with the goal of inviting her to start a family.

The lovers and their relatives came on an excursion to Perast. They walked and admired the narrow streets of the Old Town, lovely flowers and baroque architecture. The girl did not suspect anything when they boarded the boat and went to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks, shrouded in a beautiful love legend. It was there, on a beautiful pier made of white stone, that a man in love knelt down and opened his heart to her. Without holding back tears of joy and amazement, she said the cherished “Yes!”.

People around applauded and congratulated them on their engagement. When the emotions subsided a little, I, as a photographer in Perast, showed them the most comfortable corners of this place and took beautiful pictures as a keepsake.
